Sharing some of my favorite studio locations for Edmonton brand photography with you!

Take a peek through all of the locations below and find one that best suits your brand style. When choosing a studio location for Edmonton brand photography consider the versatility of the space. Are there different setups/areas you could use?

Make sure to contact the studio about its current set-up as most studios change their decor seasonally.  Rates will vary, but on average studio rental fees are $40-$70/hr with a 2hr minimum. Please note that studio rental fees are not included with one hour photoshoots and full year branding photography.

When booking a studio for a one hour photoshoot, book it for two hours and schedule your photoshoot to start 30 minutes after studio rental time starts. This will give you enough time before and after your photoshoot to set up and then tidy afterwards. For example, if your studio time is 2pm-3pm, book your photoshoot for 1:30pm-3:30pm.

Please note that I cannot guarantee exact set up or props will be the same as images below.

Showhome

Showhomes are a great option for a photoshoot with more of a lifestyle vibe. If you have a connection with a realtor, builder or interior designer they are the best to contact. Make sure you specify what kind of look/feel you’re looking for in the home. Also, homes that are bright with lots of window light are ideal.
Please note most showhomes are closed on Fridays.

Check out builders on IG and like and follow their work. Send them a DM asking if they’d consider letting us use their space for a branding photoshoot. Let them know we would tag them and talk about them in the stories before, during, and after the photoshoot!

Airbnb
Another option (if you want a ‘home/lifestyle’ look) is to rent an Airbnb. I have seen a lot of people increasing their minimum stays due to COVID, but it is another worthwhile option to look into.
