Mother Nature had different plans for Naomi’s session! The sky was threatening to open up and pour down all evening, but we thought we could beat it! We gave it a good faith effort and ran from Naomi’s kitchen to a nearby park for her outdoor photos, but unfortunately moments later it started to pour! Such is life, you gotta roll with it! I’m so thankful that we did end up getting a gorgeous sunset for the second evening of shooting. Naomi’s vision was created!

A little about Naomi’s background from her website: Naomi is an Advanced Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Personal Fitness Trainer. “Naomi’s health and fitness evolution has been in the works for over two decades. As a child and teenager Naomi was an avid participant in various sports programs (gymnastics, swimming, track and field). Her natural attraction towards a disciplined training style propelled Naomi to explore weight lifting at the young age of 19. In the years that followed, Naomi learned to adopt the finely tuned movement, discipline and form necessary to make strength training become second nature.

In 2012 Naomi decided to embark on her first fitness competition. Much self-discovery and learning transpired during Naomi’s brief run in the competitive bodybuilding circuit. Although initially successful in her competitive fitness endeavors, Naomi felt challenged by many of the nutritional concepts she was confronted with during this time. After completing three fitness competitions within the same year, Naomi  decided to exit the competitive fitness realm. Her experience encouraged her to explore topics in nutritional health from a holistic perspective. Naomi’s quest for enlightenment instituted her enrollment at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.”
