When you’ve been a mortgage broker for 21 years, you’ve probably got the experience and expertise part pretty well covered. But making sure your brand photos actually reflect who you are? That’s a whole different thing. And that’s exactly what we set out to do with Jaime Hardy’s Edmonton mortgage broker brand photography session.

Meet Jaime Hardy, aka The Mortgage Gal!

Jaime wanted photos that felt polished and professional without looking overly corporate or staged. She’s friendly, approachable, confident and genuinely cares about the people she works with. And she wanted all of that to come through in her images.

So we planned a full-day branding session with plenty of variety, a fabulous team and, yes, even a couple of cats. 😂

A Full Day of Edmonton Mortgage Broker Brand Photography

One of my favourite things about a full-day branding session is how much we can create when we’re not trying to cram everything into one location or outfit.

During our planning call, Jaime mentioned that she loved spaces with a slightly more industrial feel. So we incorporated that into the day alongside some brighter, more relaxed locations.

We started at a beautiful UrbanAge Homes property in St. Albert, where we captured casual portraits, lifestyle images and some natural working shots.

From there, we headed downtown, stopped at DOSC for lunch (and a few more photos!), explored some brick-lined streets and finished at Loft Studio for a completely different look.

Different outfits, different settings, different moods. All still very much Jaime.

A Little Extra Help Behind the Scenes

And can we talk about the team for a second?

My ride-or-die makeup artist, Amber Victoria Prepchuk, was with us for the entire day. We also had Crystal from Charis & Beauty Hair taking care of Jaime’s hair.

Plus, Jaime hired Jennifer Clark to style her outfits AND be on set all day.

Which meant we had people keeping an eye on hair, makeup, clothing, accessories and all those little details that can make such a difference in photos.

There’s something pretty wonderful about having a team of women making sure you look and feel your best while you get to focus on simply being yourself.

More Than Just Mortgage Broker Headshots

Jaime didn’t just need a new LinkedIn photo.

She wanted images that showed what working with her might actually feel like. Someone who offers honest advice, knows her stuff and makes people feel comfortable asking questions.

So we created a mix of professional portraits, working shots, casual lifestyle images and photos with plenty of personality.

And because Jaime has a huge heart for cat rescue, we even made time to include her cats. Because why wouldn’t we?!

Those little personal details are part of what makes brand photography so much more interesting than a collection of traditional headshots.

The result? A gallery with tons of variety that Jaime can use across her website, social media, marketing and whatever comes next.
